0320L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/26/22

1- The roughly 2 inches of rain we have received over the last 2 weeks has helped us drought-wise bringing us back from extreme drought conditions to the severe drought level. Everyone still needs to be careful out there. Foliage is still very dry so continue to use extreme caution.

2- Today will be one of those very nice light wind and warm temperature days so get outside and enjoy it. Sunshine IS good for you and is a great source for vitamin D. That said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny, with a high near 70. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night-Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. East wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Finally, come on down to Waukomis today and visit with your Fire, Law Enforcement, and Medical responders for their First Responder Day. Hope to see you all there.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
