0315L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 8/21/25

Another day with no major heat issues and it looks like the weekend is setting up to be nice too. That said, per guidance, we have a substantial cool down forecast for next week. How do high temps in the upper 60s to low 70s look like to you all? It appears like we may see these type of temps so sit back, absorb some sunshine this weekend and get ready for a cool down next week. There will be a low chance for showers early Sunday but a higher chance starting Monday.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Thursday- Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night Clear. Lows in the upper 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.

GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our notification, warning, and preparedness app. If you don’t have it, you’re NOT prepared!

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
