0300L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 11/27/25
The weather today looks to be really nice. Very light winds, sunny skies, and mid 50s for temps. Couldn’t ask for a nicer Thanksgiving day. Many folks will be traveling so if that’s you, drive carefully.
QUICK NOTE: Much colder weather is forecast for the Sunday/Monday timeframe. Temps will drop into the upper teens to low 20’s with wind chill temps in the single digits during the overnight hours and high temps may possibly not get out of the 30’s. Just be prepared.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Thanksgiving Day- Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. Southeast winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Thursday Night- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows around 30. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
