0315L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/1/23

*Clearing will be a bit slow today as this system moves out of the state. We received about 1.2 inches of rainfall yesterday so that helps some concerning the drought. Some areas of the county are showing no drought in the SW and abnormally dry in the NE.

*We will remain cool over the weekend with highs in the 40s and 50s then we may even see 60s by mid-week. We’ll see what happens on that one. Overnight lows look like we’ll hover around freezing. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows around 30. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
