0310L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 04/19/24

*Another storm system will move in later tonight through Saturday into Sunday bringing a chance for some rain once again but it is looking bleak for us in the northern part of the state. Moderate drought conditions have overspread the county with severe drought conditions moving into the northern 1/3 of the county. We are forecast to receive .1 to .25 of an inch of rainfall but don’t hold your breath to long.

*At this point we can only hope for more rainfall than is forecast for the area before we warm back up next week. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid-60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the mid-40s. Northeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
