FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Mostly clear skies, gusty winds, and an abundance of sunshine is on tap for today. Saturday will be similar. We have been watching the potential for severe weather on Sunday but that has lessened some for our area and we are now in a MARGINAL risk. We will be under a fairly strong capping inversion so we’ll wait and see where storms do fire Sunday afternoon.

As stated yesterday, we will conduct our siren test today at noon. We will conduct a voice system test first then the siren test.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, with a high near 70. South southeast wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Tonight-Mostly clear, with a low around 55. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
