0430L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/14/18

BE SURE AND DOWNLOAD OUR “GARFIELD COUNTY EM” APP.  You’re not prepared without it!!

1-THE WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE HIGHEST WIND GUST YESTERDAY, FROM THE MESONET, WAS 49 MPH AT BOTH LAHOMA AND BRECKENRIDGE. I am pretty sure there were higher gusts in between those sites.

2- Overall, we have fared well. Could have used more rain but hopefully that will also come soon along with some snow. I am not inferring that it’s going to snow soon, just making a statement.

3- We will warm up over the weekend and winds won’t be nearly as high as they were yesterday.  Today will be a 50/50 bad hair day so enjoy!! I don’t have that issue. 🙂

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

 Friday- Mostly sunny with a high near 49. North wind 15 to 25 mph gusting to 30mph or so.

Friday Night-Clear with a low around 27. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
