0315L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/17/21

1- A cold front is working its way towards us and winds will shift from southerly to northerly later this afternoon. Late tonight, the winds will increase with wind gusts upwards of 30 mph and last through most of Saturday then weaken later in the day. Temps today will be in the upper 50s and Saturday they will be in the mid-40s. There is a low chance a few sprinkle may occur as the front pushes through the area. We’ll see what happens.

2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly sunny, with a high near 61. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. North northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
