0400L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-12/27/19

1-GENERAL RISK for showers & thunderstorms today and tonight. Not expecting severe weather here but some lightning & thunder isn’t out of the question.

2- We will be cool outside so besides a coat or sweater, keep an umbrella handy. Overall throughout the weekend, we might receive around an inch or so of rainfall. We’ll see how this mess comes together and see how much rain we’ll actually receive.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so no need to panic. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain showers this morning. Isolated thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon.  Highs in the upper 40s. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Tonight- Cloudy with a chance of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Not as cool. Lows in the mid-40s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.
