0255L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/24/25

*Sunny but windy as we slowly warm up. On Saturday, ANOTHER front will push in dropping temps about 5 to 10 degrees. Rainfall chances over the weekend look weak for us but we could possible see better chances about mid-week. We’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the upper 20s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. Your better prepared with it than without it.

I am working on a Public Awareness Class for you all and hope to have it ready in late February. This will cover all types of storms and incidents. You’ll learn what you need to do or not do, in the event we take a major hit whether it’s from a tornado, wind event, train derailment, plane crash, or a major blackout. This will be very informative. I’ll let you know for sure on a date.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
