1-HOT and HUMID again today with a chance for thunderstorms. The FLOOD WATCH was cancelled early this morning for our area. Now, IF STORMS DO OCCUR, torrential rainfall and localized flooding would become the main issues. The threat for severe storms is low.

2- Stay hydrated today as the heat index will be around 99 degrees or so. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 99. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northeast in the morning.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 70. South winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.
