0310L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/19/24
*GENERAL RISK for thunderstorms today. Chances are low.
*Temps will still average around the 85 to 90 degree area through the next 7 days or so. There is a chance for thunderstorms NW of us this morning but then later tonight and into Saturday morning there is a better chance so we’ll just sit tight and see what mother nature wants to do. Enjoy the temps, as you all know, it could be a lot hotter. We will have a front push in early Sunday morning with the possibility of rain too. We’ll wait and see what happens.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs around 90. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
