0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/5/24
*NO watches or advisories in effect for today, so far. Even though we are out of any areas for rain, it isn’t out of the question that we might see a stray storm. Forecasts have been a nightmare as models haven’t picked up on everything this summer.
*Today’s high will be in the upper 80s so get outside if possible and enjoy the cooler temps. Saturday, we’ll in a Marginal risk for some thunderstorms so keep that eye to the sky. We’ll be in a slight risk area on Sunday as another front will be heading our way. The main risks will be hail and winds.
*Overall, for today, we’ll be ok so get outside and enjoy as the winds won’t be very strong. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southeast after midnight.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
