0335L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/13/25
We are in a MARGINAL RISK area for severe weather today, Saturday, into Sunday. If storms occur in our area, hail and winds will be the main threats. Today “appears” that storms will be west of us this morning and tonight they’ll be just east of us. We will wait and see where things actually set up later today. Again, if any storms go severe, hail and winds will be the main threats. The tornado threat is very low.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Today- Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then sunny this afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent.
Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
