0410L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/14/25

An MCS- Meso-Convective System is moving through Kansas and may affect us later this morning. Ahead of this system, storms have fired west of us and northeast of us. The storms west of us are severe due to large hail and damaging winds. Movement is east at 5mph. The storms NE of us are severe but are moving NE at 25 mph. All of these are efficient rainmakers meaning you can expect torrential rainfall if you are under these.

We are in a MARGINAL RISK area for severe weather today so just stay weather aware and we’ll see how this mess tracks.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
