0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/3/22

1- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers this morning. Highs in the upper 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

2- We are in a GENERAL RISK area for thunderstorms today. Tonight, storm chances will increase as another mid-level disturbance moves east into the area. Even though the risk is low, if any storms were to occur, they will be heavy rain producers, possibly with small hail.

3- All this may change as forecasts verify so keep an eye to the sky. Saturday, the risk for severe weather will increase some so we’ll see how all this mess comes together. Overall, we’ll be ok so continue to enjoy the cooler weather.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
