0330L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/18/22

1- WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 12 NOON.

2- Much needed rain has fallen and is still falling in and around the area at 0300L. I have just over ½ inch of rainfall. I’ll take it. It won’t put too much of a dent in the drought but it’s better than nothing. Email your totals to me if you all get time. Thank you.

3- Enjoy the rain and we should have a nice warmup over the weekend. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Windy, cooler with highs in the mid-50s. North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Friday Night-Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, becoming west around 5 mph after midnight.

No updated graphics were available from Norman at the time of this post.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
