FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

NWS HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG WARNING FROM 1100 (11AM) TO 2000 (8PM) LOCAL TIME.
You all know the drill with warm temps, low humidity, and strong winds. Controlled burning is NOT advised. Report ANY smoke or fire that you see.

Next week is EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WEEK. I am going to do 5 short videos, one each on the following: PREPAREDNESS, RESPONSE, MITIGATION, RECOVERY, and IMPLEMENTATION of the previous 4 steps into your lifestyle.
Most folks seem to feel that getting prepared is difficult. It is really pretty simple and not expensive at all. It’s mostly KNOWLEDGE and that’s what I will provide to you starting on Monday. I promise to keep these videos short, 2-3 minutes each but loaded with information. Hopefully I can put video here on the blog. If not, I will link this to facebook or twitter.
Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You will need it this spring.
Here is your forecast from the NWS;

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND STAY SAFE
