0415L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/6/22

1- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Sunny. Not as cool with highs in the mid-70s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

2- It’s been a busy week and today will be a transition day into a warming trend. After all the rainfall, it will become a mowing trend over the weekend along with the up and coming heat. We have enjoyed fairly cool weather thus far this spring but that will change this weekend. Upper 80s to mid-90s may occur so be prepared for the heat.

3- I hope folks realize that preparedness is extremely important for everyone. Seminole, Oklahoma is that example. They were advised and warned and everyone took cover the best they could. Last I heard, NO FATALITIES. I hope that holds.

4- So now, how would we fair in a similar situation? Just think about it and we can discuss this starting tomorrow morning.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
