0410L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-5/8/2020

1- We are under no risk for thunderstorm activity today. We lucked out last night in that we only had to deal with some rain, a little hail and gusty winds. I am not complaining either. The storm system is pushing out of the state as I type here at 0342. I am adding the radar pic for you to see this morning and some of these storms have had winds upwards of 75 mph.

2- For us, we’ll enjoy a calm and cooler day with clearing skies. This said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy in the morning then clearing. Cooler. Highs in the mid-60s. North winds 15 to 25 mph.

Tonight-Clear, colder. Lows in the upper 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

DIRECTORS COMMENT will resume on Monday.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
