0400L-FRIDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/28/18

OUR DISASTER RESILIENCE SEMINAR IS OCTOBER 30TH. BE SURE TO RSVP. SEE DETAILS ON THE gcem.org WEBSITE.

1-It appears we have another cold front moving our way. There is a low chance for showers too. This said, timing is an issue so just be prepared for a windshift today. As timing becomes a bit clearer, I may post again later this morning. No severe weather is expected.

2-Overall for today, get out and enjoy but take a light sweater or jacket and keep it in the car, just in case. An umbrella may be a part of that plan too. It’s best to have them and NOT need them than to need them and not have them.

3- Be sure and download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re not prepared without it!

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds around 10 mph shifting to the east in the afternoon.

Friday Night-Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers. Lows in the mid 50s. North winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of showers 20 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
