0420L-MONDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/2/18

1- HOT, MUGGY, RAIN CHANCES, AND HOPEFULLY NO EARTHQUAKES FOR THIS WEEK.

2-The heat will continue to be a major factor along with high humidity. We could see rain chances just about anytime during the week so be prepared if you plan on being outdoors any evening this week.

3-If and when any storms occur, expect the wind to be the main issue along with hail. We’ll wait and see where convection actually occurs and adjust accordingly.

4-REMINDER CONCERNING FIREWORKS ON COUNTY ROADS: It’s ILLEGAL to lite fireworks on a county road especially near any food producing crops. If caught, you may be fined by the Sheriff’s Dept. It’s illegal to even bring fireworks into the Enid city limits. Those that like to set them off late in the evening need to remember IF CAUGHT, FINES MAY BE HIGH.
