0330L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT  05/31/24

*Looks like we made it through the night with no thunderstorms. Storms stayed west and southwest of us. As for today, we should remain dry for the most part and our next threat for any severe weather won’t be until late Saturday night with hail and damaging winds being the main threats. Therefore, we’ll remain in that GENERAL thunderstorm risk area until Saturday when that becomes Marginal. We’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok so enjoy a cooler day and we’ll see what happens later tonight. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly this morning. Highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds around 5 mph, becoming north after midnight. Chance of rain 20 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
