FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Last night was interesting. Some areas around the county experienced very heavy rainfall and others didn’t see anything. Reports from the Kremlin area stated that some had received over 3 inches of rain. If you all have our GARFIELD COUNTY EM APP, please send me a DAMAGE REPORT with your rainfall totals. That report comes to my email and it allows for electronic storage in a report file. If you have pics, send them too. Thank you in advance for those reports.

The front is stalled in the area and it might lead to more thunderstorms this morning. Any severe threat is low. That said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today mostly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Highs in the mid 70’s with northeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 50 percent.

Tonight-partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s. East winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
