0425L-MONDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/23/18
1- If anyone plans on mowing their yard, later this afternoon may be your best opportunity until later this week. Just thought I would pass this mowing advisory along. 🙂
2- Today should be sunny with light winds and then rain chances go up to 20% Tuesday during the day then to 60% later Tuesday evening through Wednesday early afternoon per guidance. Â A cold front is possibly in the mix too.
3- The FIRE DANGER is low right now and as we green up, should lessen some. Our danger here in the county will increase when the wheat ripens, it quits raining, and the wind increases. I’ll keep you on top of this as we move into May.
4-REMINDER- We are in a Governor declared BURN BAN so please no outdoor burning.
5- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Monday-Sunny, with a high near 71. North wind 7 to 9 mph.
Monday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 47. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
MIKE
