0255L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/3/23
*Windy, once again with the Fire Danger in the NEAR CRITICAL zone. There is a chance that wind gusts could exceed 30-40 mph. This week will be very dry and Tuesday will be another EXTREME FIRE WEATHER day with wind gusts exceeding 50-60 mph.
* Weather-wise for today, windy with a lot of sunshine and almost “hot” out there for this time of year.
*We will conduct a voice siren test in Enid just before noon followed by the STORM SIREN 3 MINUTE TEST. If you notice a siren not working in your area, let us know by email at mike@gcem.org
* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
