0355L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/17/2020

1-Thunderstorm chances for today look to remain out west. Since we aren’t inside any risk areas, we’ll remain cautious and keep an eye out. We’ll be a stagnant weather pattern this week with very low rain chances. Also, per guidance, humidity will be lower so it won’t seem as sticky out there.

2-Temps this week will remain “around” the 90 degree mark. Some days lower and others higher but mostly cooler than what is considered to be normal. We’ll be ok.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 90s. Light and variable winds.

Tonight-Mostly clear with lows in the mid-60s. Northeast winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

DIRECTORS COMMENT

I have stated this several times to folks and you really need to pay close attention. I do NOT use messenger. I don’t open videos on the facebook version of messenger. It’s loaded with malware and viruses. If you need to send me a video, contact me first by a call as I will DELETE the email or notification that contains the pictures or video that has been sent to me out of the blue. Too much fraud out there.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
