0325L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-02/13/23

*Enjoy the morning and afternoon then a chance for rain moves in. Overnight, we could see rainfall up to roughly ¼ to ½ inch. Moisture will saturate the atmosphere and give us some relief from the mostly dry air we have been dealing with. This won’t last for long as rain, if it occurs, will end by daybreak Tuesday.

* A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect on Tuesday along with a elevated fire danger so keep your eyes peeled for smoke and fire. Tuesday’s wind gusts could be as high as 40-50 mph. Wednesday night we MIGHT see some snow so we’ll see what happens.

*Overall, we’ll be ok today so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southeast this afternoon.

Tonight-A chance of showers in the evening, then showers after midnight. Not as cool with lows in the upper 40s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
