FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Good morning,

We received a fair amount of rain last night and I don’t think anyone will really complain about that. According to the Mesonet sites here, the Lahoma site showed 1.45 inches, the Breckenridge site showed 1.06, and I have 1.60 inches here on the west side of Enid. Other areas may show a little more or less but either way, it was much needed rainfall.

That said, clouds will eventually move east and we’ll clear off for the rest of the week. The FIRE DANGER will appear once again so continue to keep your eyes peeled out there. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 72. South wind 7 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Monday Night-Clear, with a low around 38. Northwest wind around 6 mph.

Have a super day!!
MIKE
