FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

There is a slight chance we MIGHT see some storm activity later today and tonight. That means more rain. Hopefully we see more than is forecast.
As of 4 am, we are foggy outside so drive careful if you need to get out. The fog should burn off by noon or so. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Areas of fog before noon. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. South southeast wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tonight-Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 56. South southeast wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Finally, it doesn’t appear that we will have any severe weather in our area but we’ll keep an eyeball pointed that way.

Have a super day!!
MIKE
