0300L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT  06/10/24

*It appears we may stay rain-free for several days. If this holds and with harvest going on, the FIRE DANGER WILL INCREASE. Warm temps, dewpoint temps in the 50s and humidity in the 30’s will contribute to this danger. At least the winds will be nominal for a few days. If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately so a response can be sent. There has been several fires on wheatfields over the last few days so keep your eyes peeled.

*The weather will be mild and with dryer air, it will seem a bit cooler so enjoy. Temps will increase as the week progresses. OVERALL, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming east this afternoon.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
