0315L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 03/25/24

*Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app as you’ll receive advisories and warnings “directly” from the NWS, IN DETAIL. You’ll also receive information from us.

*DISCONNECT HOSES FROM FAUCETS OUTDOORS! A hard freeze is coming tonight, Tuesday night, and possibly Wednesday night. There’s nothing like having nice weather, fire weather, severe weather and now WINTER’S BACK? Oh well, we’ll deal with it.

*A cold front will push in our area today and it’s going to get cold. There is a chance for light snow in Northwest Oklahoma this morning so it really isn’t out of the question that we might see some snowflakes here. It’s an outside chance but you never know. Make sure you wear a coat as wind chill temps will be down there. Wind chill temps will be in the upper teens Tuesday morning.

*Overall, we’ll be ok, just like ice cubes, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-50s. Temperature falling into the upper 40s this afternoon. Southwest winds around 15 mph, becoming west this afternoon.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Colder with lows in the upper 20s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
