FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-MONDAY, 05/22/17
It appears we are in a General Thunderstorm risk area today and tonight. We may see some showers and or even a few thunderstorms later on as a trough moves through the area. The severity looks to be very low. That said, we’ll keep an eye out and advise accordingly. So to keep this short and sweet, here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. South southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight-40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
