FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 6PM TODAY.
Good Morning,
I am going to keep this short and sweet and will do a facebook live this morning explaining what to expect today and this week and explain how the graphics actually work. There are many questions out there so I will be live around 9ish this morning.
We are in a Marginal Risk for severe weather today. The graphic shows a MEDIUM threat for tornadoes. Our threat is lower but NOT zero. The hail and wind threats are very close to what we may see. That said, I’ll explain more later.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- A chance of thunderstorms. Showers, mainly this morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Locally heavy rainfall possible this morning. Highs in the upper 60s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening. A slight chance of showers. Cooler. Less humid with lows in the lower 40s. West winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
