0335L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/08/21

1- We will see 3 fronts this week starting later tonight, then another on Wednesday and then on Friday. An actual cool-down may occur mid-week but substantially colder air will occur Friday night where we may actually see our first freeze by early Saturday morning. You have 5 days to unhook your hoses from the outside faucets. Let’s see who can accomplish this by then!

2- It will be windy today and after the front late this evening, winds will calm down. Overall, a warm and windy day. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday-Sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Monday Night-Increasing clouds, with a low around 52. South wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight.

COMMENT- STORM SIREN TESTS in Enid will continue through the winter. All tests will be VOICE in nature until April. We will continue to replace aging sirens with electronic voice capable sirens. The first of the month 3 minute tests will cease until April. Just wanted to get this info out to you all.
