0312L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/16/23

*Cold temps will continue for overnight lows. This morning as of 0230, we were at 38 degrees and temps will continue to fall to around the mid-30s by daybreak. The same will occur tonight into Tuesday morning so make sure you disconnect hoses from outdoor faucets. After tonight, we’ll begin to warm back up during the days with highs averaging around the low to mid 70s and overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s.

*The frost advisory is in effect until 9am this morning and it may be re-issued for early Tuesday morning. We’ll see what happens. Also, we are still under drought conditions so use extreme caution if utilizing anything related to fire.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday- Patchy frost in the morning. Sunny. Highs in the mid-60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Monday Night- Clear. Lows in the mid-30s. Northwest winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight.
