0315L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/15/23

*Another mostly sunny day with high temps in the lower 60s. North winds, 10-15 mph with higher gusts are expected during the day. The overcast skies should clear our area during the day and then colder air will drop in for a visit.

* I have been talking about getting ready for winter for quite some time. One thing you must do today is disconnect hoses from any spicket around your house. There is a good chance we could see temps drop into the low to mid 30s tonight. There will be a freeze warning for northwest Oklahoma tonight a frost advisory around that. We may be included so take that one precaution to protect pipes, just in case.

*Rainfall looks bleak this week so we won’t worry about that quite yet. We’ll see how that pans out in future forecasts.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then clearing. Highs in the lower 60s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Clear. Lows in the mid-30s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
