0400L-MONDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/21/19
1- NO storm siren test in Enid today.
2- It will be windy and cooler today and with humidity being lower this afternoon, the fire danger will go up some. Today is NOT a good day for any burning. If you all see smoke, call 911 immediately.
3- Our next “chance” for rain will come in late Wednesday into Thursday morning. Per guidance right now, no severe weather is expected.
4- REMINDER that beginning today, the Vance WSR-88D WEATHER RADAR will be down for approximately 3 weeks for major upgrades. If this changes, I’ll let you know.
5- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Monday-Sunny and cooler. Highs in the upper 60s with northwest winds 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph.
Monday Night-Colder with lows in the upper 30s. Northwest winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.
