PREPAREDNESS IN GARFIELD COUNTY = GARFIELD COUNTY EM our app.
We are in a GENERAL THUNDERSTORM RISK area for today and tonight. Heavier weather should occur in southern Oklahoma.
1- Scattered thunderstorms are possible but it looks like that will be later tonight. It will be windy today and then a front will push in later this afternoon shifting winds around to the north.
2- Our best chance for precip will be later Sunday into the first half of the week. We’ll see how all this mess comes together.
3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Saturday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. South southwest winds around 17 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.
Saturday Night-20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Partly cloudy with a low around 44. North northeast wind around 11 mph.
