0335L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/14/21

1- We missed the rain, the front came through, we will be cooler for a while, and we’ll have a chance for rain each day for the next week or so. Enjoy the cooler weather while you can as the heat will return in time. Overall, we’ll be ok. Continue with whatever activities you normally do but keep that one eye to the sky, just in case.

2- Severe weather really isn’t expected this week. If we see storms, as you all are aware, winds and hail can change all of that. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1pm and 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 66. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east southeast after midnight.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
