FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-SATURDAY 8/26/17
As stated yesterday, traveling into southern and eastern Texas isn’t advised. Harvey will be around that region for several days. As it looks right now, it won’t affect us here at home. We’ll continue to watch this closely for the next few days. Otherwise, enjoy our warmer weather today as we will have a chance for thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon into the overnight hours. Our main threat will be the winds.
Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7am and 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight-Mostly clear, with a low around 68. South southeast wind 5 to 7 mph.
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
