0327L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/27/22

1-There is a chance for severe weather to our west tonight as a trough pushes its way across the area. We are not in that tagged area but hopefully we will see some rainfall if any storm can manage to reach our area. If we do actually see any thunderstorms, our main risk would be winds from collapsing storms. Just keep an eye to the sky later today.

2-Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid-90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph, increasing to around 15 mph this afternoon with higher gusts.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Have a good day!
