FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-SATURDAY 8/5/17

We are in a SLIGHT RISK area for severe weather later today. See the graph below for all risks but hail and winds are the main issues. Keep in mind that torrential rainfall and localized flooding are also possible in areas where the heavier cells may be. Other than this, it looks like a nice toasty day. I’ll advise later today on any changing conditions through our app.

We have tweaked the gcem.org website here and there and we will continue to do so. It has a new look and hopefully you all will like it. We have the FOLLOW button on the lower right corner of the site for our blog. Believe it or not folks, not everyone is on social media. I do post to the blog everyday so if you want to follow it, feel free to sign up. ALSO, here is a link to go to our website and download our app- https://gcem.org/garfield-county-em/
