FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Today is going to be a bit windy. Humidity will be a little higher. This doesn’t mean we don’t have a fire danger, we do. My advice is DO NOT BURN TODAY. All it takes is a spark and your day could basically be ruined along with several others. Enough said about this. See the graphicasts below.
I don’t see any rain for the foreseeable future until MAYBE next weekend. Hopefully we can be wrong between now and then. “Then” is a long way out and only an educated guess. We’ll see what happens. Wow, I may have to consider a rain dance, hop, skip, whatever may bring rain to the area since we really need it. I will probably enlist the help of one or two of the grandkids for the dance. If I get up and do this, it may throw something out. Don’t need any more pain.
For now, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. South southwest wind 13 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
Saturday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 35. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Be careful and stay safe.
