0315L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/11/25

*As most of you are aware, it snowed. We received 3.5 inches of snowfall which will help a little with the drought situation. The main issues this morning will be the roads. Most of the main roads are clear. Some side streets may be slick in spots and most of those areas should clear today. There may be some freezing fog and black ice in and around the area so be careful if you are traveling today. Temps will be warming into the low 40’s for the next several days and around mid to late week, we should see temps around the low to mid 50’s.

Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Patchy fog this morning. Sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the lower 20s. Southwest winds around 5 mph, becoming northwest after midnight.
