FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Good morning,

It’s going to remain pretty cold over the next few days and temps should start to warm up by Sunday afternoon. This week should be fairly mild with highs in the 40’s, 50’s, and possibly 60’s. There is a slight chance for wintery precip once again by next weekend but that’s a long ways out. As always, just be prepared for changes as we progress through the winter months and you should be ok. Watch out for those few idiot drivers that feel they are EXPERTS ON ICE! Continue to use extreme caution while driving the next few days as ice will be an issue until we warm up.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny, with a high near 35. Wind chill values as low as -6. West southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Saturday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 16. South wind 6 to 9 mph.

STAY SAFE, WARM, AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
MIKE
