0315L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/13/24
*HOT and DRY conditions will continue with strong winds once again today. This pattern will continue through next Wednesday or so when the pattern changes a bit and we come under NW flow. This will open us back up to cold fronts and rain. High temps by next weekend will be in the upper 80s to low 90s.
*Mother nature just wants to bake us for awhile and then temper us and so forth. Don’t worry, winter will be here before you know it and then we’ll be frozen for awhile.
*The fire danger is climbing so be careful out there. We ask that you don’t do any burning as the winds will be gusting upwards of 25 mph.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny, hot with highs around 100. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
