FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-SATURDAY JULY 29, 2017

It appears we will be cooler for the next several days so enjoy a little relief from the extreme heat. It will return in August. Keep in mind that if you do work outside, continue to pace and pay attention to yourself as heat related issues will continue to affect you in some way shape or form. It may be a bit cooler out there but that can give many a false sense of well-being. Just continue to pay attention to yourself, the kids, and outdoor pets.

Rain chances for our area look a bit bleak over the weekend so if you have a pool or plan to go to the lake, stay in the water and stay cool. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. East northeast wind 6 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. East wind 6 to 10 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
