0325L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/1/25
*Today should be a very nice day. Mostly clear skies and light northeasterly winds. It should be a great day to get outside and soak in some sunshine. Sunday, a chance for showers and maybe a thunderstorm later in the day. Not expecting anything severe but we’ll keep an eye out. We’ll have very strong winds during the day ON SUNDAY, and into the evening keeping our fire danger in the elevated category. We have been in the elevated area for a few months so this isn’t anything new to us. We ask that you all use EXTREME CAUTION if utilizing anything related to fire.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. Southeast winds around 10 mph.
Finally, if you see smoke or fire, call 911.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
