0300L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/8/25

*Cooler weather is expected with highs in the low to mid 40’s. There is a “chance” for rain today and there is a “low chance” to see a transition to snow “later tonight” but I wouldn’t hold your breath for that in our area. The most likely area to see any snow would be in the western 2 counties along the western border of Oklahoma into SW Oklahoma.  I would like to see the rain so we’ll have to see what happens here today and tonight. See the snow graphic below.

If you plan on traveling today, just pay attention to road conditions whether its may be raining anywhere or snowing out west. Just use caution.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy. Rain likely this afternoon. Much cooler with highs in the mid-40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain, mainly in the evening. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
